Vuoden 2025 Baseball Kesäleiri

Suomen Baseball- ja Softball-liitto (SBSL) järjestää yhdessä Helsinki Puumat Baseball seuran kanssa kesäkuussa 2025 baseball- ja softball-kesäleirin 7–13-vuotiaille lapsille. Leirin tarkoituksena on esitellä baseballin ja softballin perusteet hauskassa ja kannustavassa ympäristössä. Leiri tarjoaa pääkaupunkiseudun lapsille upean mahdollisuuden harrastaa lajia edistäen taitoja ja tiimityötä.

Leiriä johtavat kokeneet valmentajat Tony Jones, Paul York sekä Jeremy Land. Paul York on myös Suomen miesten maajoukkueen päävalmentaja.

SBSL:n lajipäällikö Ville-Herman Saarman toteaa, ”Olemme olleet rohkaistuneita aiempien kesäleirien palautteesta. Näillä leireillä on tärkeä rooli lasten ja nuorten elämässä. Ne tarjoavat ikimuistoisia kokemuksia, ystävyyssuhteita ja hauskan tavan tutustua tähän upeaan urheilulajiin.”

Päivittäinen aikataulu: 9.30–15.00
Hinta: 130 € per osallistuja viiden päivän leirille

2025 Baseball Summer Camp

The Finnish Baseball and Softball Federation (SBSL) is joining forces with the Helsinki Puumat Baseball Club to host a baseball and softball summer camp for children aged 7-13 in June 2025. The camp aims to introduce the basics of baseball and softball in a fun and supportive environment. The camp offers children in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area a great way to practice the sport while promoting skills and teamwork. The camp also allows many friendships to form through baseball.

The camp is led by experienced coaches Tony Jones, Paul York and Jeremy Land. Paul York is also the head coach of the Finnish men’s national team.

SBSL sports manager Ville-Herman Saarman commented, “We have been encouraged by the feedback from previous summer camps. These camps play an important role in the lives of children and young people. They offer memorable experiences, friendships and a fun way to get into this great sport.”
